 Bergamasca IGT Moscato Giallo

This 100% Moscato Giallo wine is made from grapes which are dried for ten days before pressing. Very clear and very pale, the wine shows a light golden glow to justify the varietal name, which translates as “Yellow Muscat.” Very pleasant scents of wildflowers and almonds mingle in an aroma profile more delicate than expected of Muscat. It has a surprisingly fresh flavour, with delicate white-fruit and honey notes shaped by crisp, gentle acidity which leaves a sweet but clean aftertaste. Serve this wine well chilled, alone, or with fresh fruits, blue or mature cheeses or tarts. Also a great match with smoked fish or caviar.
